At first I was scared and anxious... Now I get so angry sometimes, it's starting to affect the people around me.

Yup, that's the point of T, to constantly provide stress, on our central nervous system.

Today a new tone started in my head. I stayed calm and masked. It was gone after some hours. I guess my "standard" Orchestra didn't want the new tone to become a new member. Stay strong.

For the first time in my life I feel like I should've listened to my parents when they told me I shouldn't play music that loud.

you have to keep in mind, that you are very young, and that your T is pretty new, and it was noise induced, chances that it would go away are big! :)

In a sense we become adults when we realize we are stupid and our parents are wise. Sounds like you are starting that journey earlier than most. But yeah, at this time you are experiencing this T as highly distressing.

AM101 and Trobalt are the best shots for T in early stage.

Sounds like you may also have H as well. Together T and H sucks but at least your trying other things to take your mind off it. Hope you keep up with your goals you had before T. And just like infiniteloop said T is our new silence unfortunately. I regret taking for granted all the times had silence before T but then again I was unaware we could be robbed of silence. There needs to be more awareness.

You're right, sometimes it's bearable, I think it gets extremely hard when T gets combined with for difficulties in life. Having to deal with T and life at the same time is what makes it so hard.

I have been battling T for two years. I was very weak for most of this time. In the last few months I have been able to come to terms with the T beast, and kind of resume my life. The time to get to this point varies a lot from person to person. I hope that either your T goes away or you reach habituation to the beast in the shortest time possible.

Yes, a friend of mine held his birthday party at a night club, I already had tinnitus before that, but with such a low volume it didn't bother me at all. Since that party It has been getting bothersome. I can still mask it. I think I just need to get used to it.
