      Hi! I think a good book to read about TMD is "The TMJ Healing Plan: Ten Steps to Relieving Headaches, Neck Pain and Jaw Disorders" by Cynthia Peterson. I really think it has the most knowledge among most TMJ books out there and goes into many different causes such as muscle imbalances, bad oral habits, posture, etc.

        @Bernardo431 - your T does not sound that bad. Please continue to live your life but be careful. The great majority of people stay mild and stable. You have a good chance at being one of those.

        @4Grace I hope so, last month I got a new sound a bit louder than the low humming that I had for years in my other ear. I’m only afraid of the tinnitus getting worse.

        I can't mask my high frequency T in a comfortable way. The shower tends to do it, but it's pretty loud. I can still hear it over the crickets and cicadas in the summer, but it helps to have partial masking, which I use overnight "thousands of crickets" youtube video.
