  • Hi everyone. I'm here again. Since I was last time here my T has improved. But after I got Covid the second time, my T got worse :/
I don't have support from my parents. It's so much harder without it :(

I'm sorry to hear that too. Remember all of us on here are your support now. <3 and there's no one who knows/understands tinnitus better than us. x x

I face this problem as well, just know you're not alone.

Thanks guys for your support. I'm over thirty. I live far from my family and I feel alone. So, thank you again, I really appreciate your kind answers.
OK. Update. I'm gonna kick tinnitus ass! I'm making pancakes!

Cooking has been one of my main ways to deal with tinnitus! The sound of my fridge, half-watching something on Netflix, and learning to cook my fav foods from scratch has been therapeutic.

You go girl! You make pancakes, redirect those thoughts and keep busy!
Left ear's whistling is loud today. Trying to focus on other things, but it's hard.

Can you work on a project? Do you have Christmas cards to send or presents to wrap?
Today T. is manageable during the day, but I sleep about 3 hours at night-with sleeping pill.I can't get used to so many types of whistling.

    What pills do you use?

Hypnogen or Zolpidem. I always used them for a couple of months and I never became addicted.
After yesterday's nightmare, today my T is surprisingly mild! I don't get it. I've never been used to such fluctuations!

Happens to me! Actually after almost a month of horribleness, today seems to be completely bearable. Hopefully it continues, if not I know I am strong.
My ears are screaming and whistling so LOUD. I can't take it anymore :((

Have you had that for the entire two years you've had T, or did something make it worse?
    B
I have had tinnitus for 22 years. It's getting worse. There is always a residue left after a relapse. Now a lot of new sounds have been added, very loud, some very painful.
Major worsening, multiple new tones, that are all so loud. I can't focus on almost anything, crying all days. Starting taking AD.
My T is now about 90% better. Hyperacusis is gone completely.

    Any tips you can share???
    What did you do differently?
    Did you protect?

Congrats! Please do share your success story!

I've been taking "Hypnogen" (sleeping pills that are prescribed often in case of sleeping issues in Czech Republic) for a couple of months. Mostly, it immediately decreased the intensity of tinnitus and over time tinnitus and hyperacusis decreased overall. Today I percieve mild tinnitus, it's no longer a problem for me. I wish you all to get well!!
You will see a blank slate where you can type in words beneath my message, then when you write it click post reply :)
@dpdx At that time I hear train brakes in my head 24/7. And feel as if someone was cutting my nerve. It was torture. I can't send you PM :o(
@dpdx You are my hero. Long ago I had similar experience with T&H as you. It last 4 months and I was almost completely recovered. Be strong
