@Wrfortiscue I think those of us with hyperacusis tend to have nerve problems which make us more susceptible to the nerve inflammation which causes hyperacusis.
I had to give up drums because of this. My hands will tingle with pain for hours after playing games or drums. Legs and feet tingle after sitting for minutes and will hurt. Sharp shooting pains in feet when lying down. Last, random extreme muscle weakness every couple days
@Safari1999 Also know that these "pins and needles" sensations, that may appear many places in the body, could be a symptom of anxiety too (with hyperacusis may being the culprit of it).
