Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
Don't fight it. On my bad days distraction is the only thing that works. Do something nice for yourself. I like going for walks outside, taking hot baths or doing an art project
We must learn to accept it until it goes away or lessens. I know I hate this reality too. I curse myself for destroying my life and taking that medication. Someone had theirs disappear after 3 years that I read yesterday.
But we should forgive ourselves for not knowing what the future would be. I think everyday... If I didn't take that medicine I'd still be me.... In silence! Now I'm barely holding on each day... Hating my life. Sounds hurt my ears. What happened.
@Mo8409 I'm so sorry Mo. I feel the same way about the medication that I took that caused this. =( Accutane sucks. I'm thankful for people like you to talk to on this form who keep it real and encourage at the same time.
@Mo8409 my benzo induced Tinnitus has reduced a lot. Different drugs, but maybe yours will too. Be careful on the future with drugs, I don't even take Tylenol anymore.
