@cyberspace Some scary stuff on that website. A very slow taper seems best. Some people manage to quit cold turkey, but I wouldn't recommend it. I was on Escitalepram for about 7 weeks and weaned off in 2 weeks, but I was having bad side effects while still taking it 4 or 5 weeks into my prescription. Dr. said to stop taking.

I stopped it once before.. I cut 3.75 in half for two weeks. Then took that every other day for 1 week then every 2 days for a week then stopped.

It recommends a slow taper of 10% per month.
