Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
They should have taught all of us about this at school. You shouldn't hear things like this for the first time in a random book. This world laid a huge trap for all of us here.
@gameover In the book, the main character gets T from an explosive whilst being on the front lines in a war, but i think the author didn't write about it correctly? The author said the MC's T was faint (and that's all the description we get), but could hear it over the shower, which makes me think it's not faint. She has no trouble sleeping or shows no distress from it (which to me was very unrealistic).
@gameover The book was well written over all, and I enjoy the author's other books too, but i really felt that the author could have written about T better considering it was a trauma of war. Overall, it just makes me realize that poeple who don't have T really don't know what it's like.
@BB23 Totally right! I am Gen X so all we heard about was the horrors of smoking, sugar and Aids! But then at school parties the volume was turned all up! Insane! Gaslighting! A crime really
