Hey I feel you and I'm sorry that happened to you, it's so hard to manage this world sometimes :/ I've had a couple of slip ups with 100% volume again for brief seconds in my ears, great stuff... NAC May Have Helped My Hearing Loss, Although It Definitely Gave Me High-Frequency Tinnitus

When you say “overprotecting,” do you mean earplugs? I’ve been using them almost all day, every day, and I’m not sure whether that’s helping or making things worse. I’m still very sensitive to noise, and I get spikes at night from almost anything when I’m not wearing my earplugs.

Lipoflavonoid for Tinnitus? Helps or Not?

I just got Lipo-Flavonoid from CVS Pharmacy to help reduce ear ringing. I also have allergy issues that may be contributing to the ringing in both ears. I use an allergy nasal spray at the same time I take the flavonoid. I’ve gotten some relief so far and have been able to sleep soundly. I hope...

Severe Two-Week Tinnitus Spike After Vacuuming Despite Wearing Earmuffs

Thanks, everyone, for all the kind support. It’s been three months now, and still no reprieve. I did get a couple of days with lower volume, but that was short-lived. I went to a garage sale two weeks ago, and someone switched on a small compressor. I immediately stuck my fingers in my ears and...

NAC May Have Helped My Hearing Loss, Although It Definitely Gave Me High-Frequency Tinnitus

People can do whatever they want, @Sonia554, but complete masking at night, like you mentioned, is not something generally recommended. It’s also not advice that professionals in this field usually give their clients. Sound therapy, or whatever you prefer to call it, should not be used as a...
