So I finally have ent appointment on Thursday.i was wondering what are the do's and don't do? Only thing I can think of to ask him is "how much damage have I done to my ears?" And if he says there needs to be earwax cleaning.i should tell him to do it manually? Any advice would be helpful :)

I spoke to a buddy who said when he worked at mcdonalds he worked with that headset taking orders .he would constantly hear BEEP! Over the headset( left ear)he told me he also had ringing but now he sometimes hear it and his hearing on the left comes and goes.

I feel angry for not wearing earmuffs the day I was fixing the barn.it was the one time I was too lazy to go get them from the store.before I got T I was always cautious about my hearing,always lowering the volume of music being played from car,radio,4th of July firecrackers,etc.screw u T!!

Would like to know if going to sleep late or early increases or decreases volume of tinnitus. Also do you wear earplugs at all times even at home?

I put A dab of olive oil on two cotton balls plugged them into the ears just barely and it lowered mine for a bit .(at around .1pm) tried it again hours later due to t getting louder and no results.i left them in there for about 5 minutes.
