Hello Jazzer, Long time. That post sums up so much for me. This is hard. My tinnitus is blazing away as it does. It’s morning here. I am enjoying a nice coffee. Just wanted to pop by and say hello. Hello my friend. Take care, love and good vibes to you. From the heart Daniel Thanks for being here Jazzer
Hiya buddy Always nice to hear from you my friend. You have great sensitivity despite your pain. Bearing in mind that there is no treatment for us, all we can do is develop our own stoical acceptance - an incredibly tough conclusion to come to - but that is the reality. In one of my threads I spoke about Eckhart Tolle’s book “Silence Speaks,” which I have found encouraging. “As silence is denied us, find peace through the stillness underneath all experience.” It may help you my brother. Love always Dave xx Jazzer
@zombiechick - I need to follow you. We seem to think alike. Thank you for your support. Dave x Jazzer
Coping with these conditions demands continuous courage, which is so hard to muster at times. Some kind of stoical acceptance seems to be the best way. Meditation seems to help me. I can’t have silence, but I can find stillness. Heartbreaking for somebody so young. Our lives were not meant to be this way. Having a beautiful little person to love gives us purpose, I know. I have some adorable grand children. Take care Dave x
Thank you Linda. If you can relax deeply in meditation you may be able to experience the stillness beneath all else. I also read articles and books by Eckhart Tolle, which do help me quite a bit. Much love and best wishes, Dave x Jazzer
