17-Year-Old with Tensor Tympani Syndrome

Hi! My name is OPLax and I am 17 years old with Tensor Tympani Syndrome and Tinnitus.

I had tinnitus ever since I was little and my TTS just started maybe 2 to 3 years ago.

Right now, I'm comfortable with my Tinnitus, I have stuff to mask the sound, but my concern is the frequent muscle ear spasms I get with TTS. It drives me insane and ruins my day. I can even say it probably makes me depressed in life. I have tried Magnesuim doses but to no avail and I might need surgery. I'm trying my best to cope with TTS.

Anyway, I love cars, airsoft, and video games. my favorite video game would have to be Counter Strike! I am very happy to find this forum!

You might want to go to an audiologist and get TRT or sound therapy. Tensor Tympani Syndrome can become a reflex and sound therapy for T and H should relive the TTTS and tinnitus.
