So, I am experiencing my 3rd spike in a week, and I am wondering what this could be all about. The spike I am having is a very high pitched tone with a hiss and I have experienced this from time to time during my time as a tinnitus sufferer the last 20 years. But, I have never had it so many times in such a short period of time, and it makes me kinda nervous. I have tried to track my lifestyle the last week, but I cant seem to find any triggers, as I do not listen to loud music etc. I am working in a very quiet environment and use my table radio for sound enrichment during the day.

Has anyone else had this experience with spikes coming and going so frequently and then be gone for a longer period of time like mine?

Hello,

I am experiencing something similar. I had my first spike 5 days ago, and it has gotten a little bit worse each day. I had mild noise exposure but nothing much really. I dont know whats causing it or if it will ever go back to baseline.

Did you spike ever subside? Or did it become your new, permanent baseline?

@Makrohn , @drumsandclubs

I also have a second spike in 2 weeks. However, in my case the reason is more-less clear.

My grandmother loudly shouted next to me both times, plus to everything 2 days ago I dropped my smartphone in the dark on the iron tank. It was loud and, even more frighteningly, unexpectedly.

My acoustic reflex could not work.
Now spike. So he did not want it.

On the Internet is very contradictory information.
But I decided to take NAC, vitamin C, and magnesium.

Unpleasant. What do you think about it?
