Hi all, I have just been told I have this and it was probably caused by a virus and just coincidence that I thought it occurred after a flight.

I am now on a waiting list for vestibular rehab, I'm told tinnitus is the brain telling us there's something wrong, so now I know.

Is it possible do you think for my brain to stop this, probably asking too much but I don't think I can go on not only with such difficulty walking but with this awful tinnitus at a volume that I wouldn't have thought possible (until I get a spike!) in both ears.

      Does anybody else have this?

Thank you Glynis, I have been on betahistine and cinnarizine for the last 6 months also given propanodol , didn't do anything for me, in fact the ENT told me to come off all of them and if anything I feel better for it.
