After taking prednisone I regained 95% of my hearing back. Is it common for this to relapse and lose my hearing again. My ent doesn't seem to know because no reason for my loss was found in the first place. The reason I ask is because of my t I cant tell how well my hearing is without an hearing test. Before my last test I had no idea that my hearing came back because I couldn't tell. The ent doesn't want to see me again for 3 months wich from what I can tell is past the prednisone helping stage. So I was just curious how often this happens over and over.

      Thanks,
      Kevin

      Nobody knows.
But you can certainly monitor your hearing yourself with Hearing Test apps on phones. They are not perfect, but they can certainly give you a trend if you use the same setup every time.
In my case it gives me results that are within 5 dB of a the "professional hearing test", so that's good enough for me.
