Alcohol makes my tinnitus much worse?? :-(( Why?? I'm 19 years old and I need to go out sometimes...

I'm really thinking about killing myself... Then it's all over and I'll have silence forever.

Has anyone who could not drink alcohol due to it causing spikes been able to again drink after habituation without having a relapse?

Hi, I've had it for over 2 years, and do enjoy a drink now and then. What I have have found is that mixed drinks are out since the high levels of alcohol end up caddying a spike. Even beers over 5 percent do the same thing. However, I am usually fine with lower alcohol light beers, or Guinness, which is only 4 per cent alcohol. Everyone is different, but that is what works for me. Good luck.
