   Cause of Tinnitus:

   ear infection

   I am thinking about getting anti anxiety pills. The audiologist says for some it increases tinnitus. Any experiences? or meds name that increased yours?

   Cause of Tinnitus:

   Unknown.

   For some people, it decreases tinnitus. I'm sure that it might work the other way around for some others.
   But check out @Aaron123 's link, this has been discussed numerous times.
