Anti-Viral Medication for Meniere's Disease/Tinnitus?

What do you think.Looking at forums re eustachian tube dysfuntion and Tinnitus.This lady cant remember how/why had been told Zovirax TABLETS was all over the net re meniers desease and sufferers getting real benefit.She took the 5 daycourse and has got massive relief.

Zovirax is used for the cold sore herpes virus.

Thoughts are that people have low level virus in their ear and tubes that this Zovirax can deal with.Also theory that as a child if you had chicken pox ,that is always latent in you and can /maybe attack the ear system.

Thing Is Im googling for more info and cant find anything at the moment.

Any thoughts????
