This was one of my hobbies, I used to play in tournaments, play in a league. Took me many years to get good. My bread and butter was the snake shot and pull kick.

When I was little, my dad got us one along with an air hockey table. I don't really play anymore though, and the foosball table is staying with my mom. She uses it as place to put her mail and other junk.

Yep, this is what happened to two of my tornado tournament 2000s.

We have a basement rec room with a foosball table. I started to learn the game recently, post hearing loss/tinnitus. We also have a pool table and dartboard. I don't like being in noisy crowds, so we stay home many weekends and play foosball with the music kept low. The game takes my mind off of tinnitus and I am actually becoming competitive!

That's a reason why I thought about getting back into it, it could take my mind off of it. What kind of table do you have? How's your 5 row?

      Hi Jake,
Sorry I have taken so long to reply. I have not been visiting the forum as much lately.
The table is made by Gamecraft. (I don't know anything about table brands.) Well, I assume the 5 row is the one with 5 guys on it and I am pretty good with that row because it is operated with my right hand and I am right handed. My goalie isn't great.
If you enjoy playing and you have funds and space for a table and someone to play with, I would definitely encourage you to get one. It is a good distraction from tinnitus. Of course, the game itself can be sorta noisy but it is much more tolerable in your own home than it is in a bar. We are into ping pong right now because it's summer and we can play in the garage. Now, we just have to train the dog to stop destroying the balls when they leave the table! He can get to them much faster than we can.
My social life has been clipped by hearing loss and T and H. Increasing entertainment options in the home environment has been a good strategy for coping.
