Hello All,

New to the site and the ringing in my ears and just wondering if anyone out there has tinnitus caused by menieres. When I first got he diagnosis from my ent I was totally freaked about the possible vertigo attacks and hearing loss - I've had some of both but turns out the tinnitus has been by far the hardest thing to deal with! Just curious what other folks out there experiences with menieres and tinnitus have been . Thanks

Yes,tinnitus is related to Menieres disease as the definition of Menieres disease is:tinnitus, hearingloss and vertigo! All under the same Meniere "umbrella" so to say.Try the treatment: hyperbaric oxygen under high pressure in a special chamber, and tinnitus might be helped in the 50 % of the cases.

There is also a pulsatile generator made in Sweden by a Meniere investigator that can be useful in treating the increased liquid pressure in the inner ear.I do not think there would be a harm,if you try this treatment.
