Just before I leave for the day.......had a thought and this may have been discussed before.

Is there anyway we can request funding for research from some of the large companies. In particular, a company like Apple who have a HUGE involvement in the development of Tinnitus.....indirectly of course.

Part of me feels that they could contribute to research.

      Google....another huge company......

There are many others of course.

How would one go about doing this? Writing a letter to them in distress????

Again, I will say I am ignorant but there must be big money in the kitty somewhere.......

Going out to enjoy the sunshine as I need to try and get away from focusing on this din.

      Peace and quiet to all

      Thanks @jazz .

I know I have not real right to say this, but my guess is there would be a fair bit of money that could be used.

I know there are more important illness than tinnitus that need to be cured so.....

This is not a bad idea at all. For example Apple is investing now quite heavily into next gen headphones. Some sort of a 'T-prevention technology' etc could be a differentiator to a company, for example Apple...

Even better if it was a letter on behalf of somebody that the organization would find value in publicly associating their brand with. Like military veterans.
