Lately my tinnitus has been getting alot worse and it's because of my ears feeling blocked.

I have eustachian tube dysfunction and my ears crunch and crackle when I swallow and today there is a slight bit of pressure around my ears. Although my actual hearing seems fine and it's not blocked or muffled so Im sure its related to the eustachian tubes being blocked or swelled up or infected.

I saw a doctor and he said to take a nasal spray and I've been taking nasonex which hasn't been helping that much but he also said to take a antihistamine as well.

But are antihistamines safe to take with tinnitus?

He suggested Claratyne or fexofenadine but I'm worried incase it might make my tinnitus worse.

      Thanks

If you investigated eating an apple in a similar way to medications, eating an apple would most likely not be considered safe either.
