I received an aroma diffuser for Christmas and have been enjoying it in my bedroom. However I'm noticing a significant spike ever since I started using it! Could this lovely scent of cinnamon apple cider be causing this spike? I have not changed anything else in my life.
I'm wondering if this (fairly strong) scent is stimulating either my brain in a sensory place close to my auditory place, or just stimulating my neurons in general?
I know that my tinnitus is related somehow to randomly firing neurons: the same things that tend to trigger epileptics to have seizures also trigger my tinnitus spikes. I did find info that the ubiquitous cinnamon overpoweringly scented pine cones of the holidays causes many people to have migraines.
Any thoughts?
