If you have an ear infection, then yes an ENT would be an appropriate doctor to see. Things can get much much worse if you leave infections untreated.
Note: an ENT is a doctor. We call them ENT but we should really be saying "ENT doctor", as in "ear/nose/throat doctor". Even "ENT doc" is a simplified name for "otorhinolaryngologist" (the more technical term).
