I took Niacin 50mg to see if I would flush. After about 40 minutes, I got a blast of high pitched ringing in my one T ear. I am drinking lots of water to try to dilute this. Did not expect this. Threw Niacin in the trash.

:-(

Yesterday I took Niacin 100 mg and my ringing went up to about 8/10, i took it again this morning and it increased up to about 6/10.

I'm not sure if to stop taking it or not? Should I give it another try then call the doctor?

Is it really necessary you take it? Don't understand your health problem. Try calling your doctor and asking for sn alternative.

My ENT prescribed them so my ringing can go away along with Lipoflavonoid Plus.

I was taking flush free and the doctor changed them so my tinnitus can go away faster.

I'm not sure, I might give it another try and see if I hear another difference. What do you think?

I think your doctor means well but that these aren't going to help you. If you don't know what caused your tinnitus, you should probably get some tests done, like an mri. Is this doctor your general practice or an ENT?

My ENT prescribed me them, I have chronic hearing loss (moderate), I lost my hearing 15 years ago, I am now 20 and I got tinnitus on August 1, 2018. He said patients with hearing loss (about 90% of them) usually get tinnitus and most alleviate with those medications. I hope I can too :/
