      Hello Doctor

I have a question and hope to get your advice on it.
My tinnitus is very new, 2 weeks old and is kind of a dog whistle, very high frequency and a constant pulse like.
I couldn't figure out the cause of my Tinnitus yet and so do my ENT and reading other threads relating to initial tinnitus set-in, i am just trying to hang in there, not panic and trying to measure my response against it rather than the volume.
I am travelling home for Christmas and have a 24 hr long flight journey. Just wanted to know if this long flight and the jet engine sound could be fatal? Can this worsen my T?
What all precautions do you suggest?

      Thank you

@Harry, for long flights you might consider investing in a pair of Bose noise cancellation headphones Model 15, 25, 0r 3 (but not 20 or 20i). I would absolutely not allow your tinnitus - or concern that it might possibly get worse - interfere with your plans to travel home for Christmas.
