I was diagnosed with slightly high blood pressure and my doc put me on lisinopril 10mg.

I took it for two days and my pressure dropped too low and the doc asked me to cut the tablet into half. I cut it into 4 and started taking 2.5mg & for around 10 days after which I woke up one morning with hearing loss in one ear.

The hearing seemed to return after I cleaned up my ear using OTC wax cleaner but after a few days noticed the ringing. I should say that around the time I started taking the BP medications I also had a bad cold. My doc wanted me to stop the medication to see if the toxicity wears off and the ringing would stop but its about more than a month the ringing continues.

Some days I feel the buzz only in one ear but it's more pronounced when I meditate or work on my computer. I am trying some supplements like B12, Ginkgo biloba and zinc. Except my vitamin D (which was very low), the rest were in the low normal.
