Cocaine
Hi, so I'm a weed smoker and have been even before I got tinnitus. But when I smoke my tinnitus gets louder than it normally is for a few hours and I'm wondering if it could make it louder permanently.

(The weed in discussion is hashish)

I smoked on a daily basis for half a year after I got tinnitus but have cut down to only smoking 2 once a week (have also gone much longer periods without smoking).

Would love feedback from people knowing or having experienced it happening (bless you) :)

Thanks!!

No, I don't think it would be permanent, I smoke almost every day, seems to really ramp it up for me while I'm high. I sometimes wonder though, if I took a long break, say months/years if my tinnitus might eventually have a lower baseline. I think I might try.

My T has been worsened as of late, I don't think regular weed is the right thing for me right now.

Have you tried just straight cbd ? I have some on order, will be here Monday. I will keep you posted. Most strains these days are 15-25 percent thc, with 1-2 percent cbd. I think those numbers are accurate, if not close.

Same happens when I drink coffee... But when I don't my T goes to baseline. Been like this for years

i couldn't touch weed for about 8 months after T without it causing problems but a lot of it was to do with my overall anxiety levels during this time i think. Iv been using it for a couple months recently without noticing any problems (i vape). Im intrigued by your profile stating cause of T was Cocaine? What happened?

As a side note if your sinuses are inflamed from Cocaine and this being the cause of your T it could be that smoking will aggravate your sinuses again so it could make it worse for you.
