Can Hyperacusis/Tinnitus Improve While Still Struggling with Insomnia?

I have really struggled with my sleep for the past seventeen (17) months. I have a week or two of decent sleep and then only three (3) to five (5) hours a night for an extended period, with the occasional six (6) to seven (7) hours of sleep.

Have any of you experienced improvement with your hyperacusis and/or tinnitus while still struggling with insomnia?

I am wondering if I will ever experience any significant improvement if I am not able to experience restorative sleep for an extended period.
 
@Athens, in my own experience, I would have to say no.

Sleep is so important for body, nerves and mind to rest and heal.

Always having deficiency in sleep complicate things a lot - with any kind of condition really.

Sleep deprivation will make you more sensitive and high alert, and you will get easier fatigued in ears and so on. It's difficult to escape the fight or flight response with insomnia - in combination with hyperacusis and tinnitus.

Perhaps try meditation or something soothing to try and relax.

Yes, I believe that the hyperacusis and tinnitus would significantly improve or perhaps even resolve if I had restorative sleep for an extended period of time. My sister struggled with her sleep for three (3) years after her son tragically passed away. She sleeps well now. I hope that the passage of time will improve all of these issues. I did subscribe to Calm and they have some guided meditations there.

My personal experience is sleeping well helps with tinnitus and hyperacusis. One night of bad sleep and, in my particular case, tinnitus spikes and hyperacusis is more evident.
