Even if I live in a very sunny country, and I sunbathe often, my levels of vitamin D are always low. So I was wondering if you guys can recommend a good Vitamin D supplement, some particular brand to buy.

Also I have a question for people living northern up, in the less sunny countries like Scandinavia... I think many food products and drinks are enriched with Vitamin D supplements. Could you explain which foods are enriched and which brands to buy? Maybe they have them here too, although I doubt it...

Thanks in advance!

I use Nature's Bounty D3 25mcg (1000IU) once daily after breakfast. Totally see a difference in energy/mood since I was vitamin D deficient.

If taking large quantities of vitamin D like this, you should also take a magnesium supplement, as this has been found to deplete magnesium absorption which is also important for good auditory health.

Thanks for your input! I will try to find that brand!

I live in a sunny country and foods and drinks are not enriched with D vitamin here.

Actually, I sunbathe often and don't know why my vitamin D is always low, below the mark on blood tests.

My vitamin D levels are always low if I do not take a supplement. My multivitamin has 2000 units, but I am also taking another 4000 units because of COVID-19. I just buy the 2 for 1 specials for Vitamin D at the pharmacy; for my multivitamin I use Pure Encapsulations which is highly recommended.
