      I had tinnitus for about 15 months before it completely disappeared. About 2 months before it went away, I began taking 250 mg cheated magnesium daily. I think that may have been a big factor in my recovery. The chelated form of magnesium is absorbed more effectively by the body than the more common type, and you can get it at any Vitamin or health and nutrition store. Some of you may want to try it, but keep taking it for several months because it may take time to become effective.

      @Aficianado
      Thank you so much for sharing. I am 2 months into my onset and this makes me hopeful it can go away, even after 15 months.

      I've been taking normal Magnesium for about 2-3 weeks no, maybe I will switch to chelated. Although my onset was not due to loud noise at all, it's worth trying for me ,
