What projects are you working on?
Putting up new shelving above the pantry deep freeze.
Have to brave home depot to get some supplies tomorrow. Today, I started redoing the soffit on the front portch.
Pretty sure at some point I'm gonna have to reshingle the roof. The other side got done in 2016 and I wanted to do it then.
Alas, this side has valleys. I hate shingling valleys. And more endless projects. Finish up replacing a door not to long ago. Never ending projects.

My personal project I want to get to is to build this last "false shelf" for my YA and younger bookshelves.
I use to make these "false shelves" out of card board to double stack my books. So that instead of one row on one shelf, I'd get two rows on one shelf It's the last cardboard one I need to do. I poached wood from this place I know that tosses the good stuff
. Took for ever to get enough for the project. I keep having nightmares that my current false shelf will collapse one night while I'm at my computer and take me out.
I know I should have made it first when I built them last year in the spring for my other YA shelves, but . . . it was daunting. Then life kept putting it off for me. Every time I resort that shelf I have to hold it up and put the front books on before loading up the top!

Actually this pic was from 2010 and it was just my Epic/High fantasy shelf. Now I"m a way huger setup. I still tried to keep my adult books mass market, but I caved a bit for books I just had to have and it was cheaper to get whatever format I could get in thrift stores. I now have 5 shelves like that one and 4 various other ones crammed in. My room is paved with books. Plus, I cram them wherever. And I need to figure out where to shelve more poor manga collection, which is in boxes.
They just didn't speak to me, I guess.
