Ciprofloxacin and Tinnitus

is there proof that cipro will most certainly make your t worse? Or is there only anecdotal experiences? I'm genuinely curious.

It's seeming like it was just a temporary spike, thank the gods. Anecdotal evidence, I took 500mg of cipro every day for 2 weeks, and it possibly caused a temporary spike. The spike started 1 week in and ended 10 days after finishing the cipro.

It's answered by a doctor, so it has more credibility than a random post but I personally prefer scientific studies as sources.

It lists tinnitus as "Rare" (0.01% to 0.1%).

I took 18 pills of Ciprofloxacin when I had an infection from a bad rhinoplasty procedure.

I don't know if it caused my tinnitus or if the tinnitus is from my Valium withdrawal.
