      Hi everyone,

I guess I'm at a point where I'm realizing my tinnitus is related to something that's probably been happening for a really long time.

My main question is related to a really specific sensation I get when I half-pop my ears: you know when you open your jaw and you pop your ears, and right before they pop they make a crinkly noise? Can you do that all the time? I'm wondering if maybe my problem is related to the fact that I can actually make that crinkly noise all the time. Like I can just sit here and pop my ears all the time and in addition I can move my jaw muscles ever so slightly to make a really disconcerting noise on either side of my head, is this normal?

I'm assuming my tinnitus is very somatic. It changes drastically with clenching or opening my jaw. Has anyone achieved relief by treating TMJD or neck muscle disorders?
