I've had severe tinnitus in both ears since a car accident in 2011. Over the years, I've spent a lot of time researching different ways to treat the condition.
I've tried hearing aids with low-frequency noise, acupuncture, herbal remedies, and also Klonopin. Klonopin worked well, but I found the drug's addictive properties too difficult to manage, so I had to stop using it.
Last year, I traveled to Thailand for 30 days. During that time, I received an upper back massage every day. That experience gave me a new sense of life, and when I returned home, I felt significantly better. Unfortunately, after about a month without massages, my tinnitus returned to the way it was before.
Has anyone else tried deep tissue massage as a treatment for tinnitus?
