Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
was this a "go in, widen a nostril, fix a deviated septum" type deal? Can I ask how it went, what the recovery was like, and what effect it's had?
Basically I broke my nose when I was about 18, have a wider nostril on one side than the other as a result, and I tend to get stuffed up very easily and usually can only breathe through one nostril when I first wake up in the morning. This is all slightly obnoxious but so far I haven't pursued a scalpel.
It was arguably the most intense experience of my entire life. Having lidocaine injected way up into your nose multiple times is NOT fun. After the surgery there was no pain. I had lots of huge bloody boogers for about a month and that was actually really fun.
