Do vitamins or supplements help people's tinnitus randomly?

Like can Vitamin D help one person's tinnitus and make another person's tinnitus worse?? Same thing with say vitamin B??

Is it random the supplements/vitamins that help people's tinnitus?

If you don't have a deficiency in some vitamin, they won't help.

Anaemia can cause tinnitus so a blood test can rule that out or if need iron .

I took a packet of emergen-C today (1800% daily vitamin C) for the first time in a week I almost want to say it knocked down my tinnitus a level instantly. Could high levels of vitamin C work instantly?

I know what it means now after I looked it up.. Explain why the Lipo Flavonoids that I thought were gonna help raised my tinnitus level a tad.. Large doses of Vitamin C won't help my tinnitus then unless I have a Vitamin C deficiency then?? Been reading that large doses of vitamin C could help tinnitus.

I mean I've never seen any scientist say vitamin C helps tinnitus, so what you're feeling with regards to lower tinnitus, it's probably placebo. :( read here what it means https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Placebo

Yeah I know what it means now.. No scientist says anything works for tinnitus, but there has to be certain things that work for certain people regarding tinnitus... I am almost 100% sure the Lipo-flavonoids, bumped my tinnitus up a small level.. But I've only been on the Lipo-Flavonoids 3 weeks, and just noticed the small raise in tinnitus.

When this all first happened I had a blood test and I guess I had no deficiency. My tinnitus is from a misaligned neck/jaw.

Mine only did a tiny bit. 3 weeks into the Lipo's it did this. Leading up to this for about 1 month my tinnitus would be on and off for 3 days each. Then the Lipo's must have taken effect and the 3 days off of tinnitus it was then noticeable.

I've tried like 2 or 3 different supplements and the lipo flavonoids now. It's hard to tell if the supplement is actually working or not. I say the 2 or 3 I tried have had no effect. I'm pretty sure the lipo flavonoids have made my tinnitus just a tad worse.

I was on them for 1 1/2 months and my T went through the roof.
I stopped cold turkey and the T went back to base line in 4 days.

Hey I stopped taking them because of price and replaced them with another natural anti inflammatory but I feel as though they had a positive affect as does the fish oil I take.

I wouldn’t say I have days of silence but I definitely have days where I barely even notice my tinnitus, only if I focus on it
