We are both clearly believers in the value of diverse forms of distraction ‘Once.’
We literally must not allow ourselves to dwell on the more miserable aspects of this condition.
Sometimes it will drag us down, of course.

Ever since the moment that I awoke on that horrible morning in mid 2014, my ‘T’ has been loud and constant.
It never once went down.

At any point in any day I could give in, and sink into despair.
I don’t do it.
I will not do it!

I still look for aspects of this different life to enjoy:
friendship, conversation, art, music, humour, fun, pussycats, intimacy, love, good food, (porridge with maple syrup), a hot bath, watching my wonderful grandson Sammy score goals for his football team etc.....(little secret here - at such times I shed a tear for his mum and dad, who both passed so young, and would have been so proud of this wonderful kind and talented young man. I look away in case anybody notices.)
Sorry babe - I’m rambling on a bit here - but our very survival depends on finding a spark of heroism, to kick start our ‘joie de vivre.’
