Does Noise Induced Ear Pain Go Away?

Hi folks,

I recently had an unfortunate incident about 3 weeks ago which resulted in immediate ear and facial pain which hasn’t settled and my hyperacusis has become very painful with increased ringing .

I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar situation and if the ear pain has subsided or improved? *fingers crossed*.

After less than 3 months mine improved. It comes and goes comes and goes. It was almost gone for ~2weeks but it's back now. But I hope it will completely go away soon. Facial massage helps me a lot.

Also some people here had it which totally resolved. Be patient and stay positive.

 

nerves might heal but they also could not.

we don't know, just avoid loud noise exposure.

 

God! I truly hope they do!! Could not endure this long term! x
