Ear Infections — Existing Tinnitus

Hi all, I already have T from acoustic trauma, however, it feels like I have an ear infection emerging, will this likely make my T worse as it seems to be getting worse. Also will the T quietest down once the infection clears?

How would you get rid of an ear infection if most antibiotics are ototoxic? Surely it's a lose lose situation?
