You might have insulin resistance. Talk to your doctor about having your blood glucose levels tested. I eliminated sugar and simple carbs from my diet as much as possible, which helps, but I still get spikes after eating. I ate lunch about an hour ago, and it's definitely louder than it was prior to lunch. Very noticeable change, but not as bad as it used to be and doesn't last as long.
Try and figure out what you're eating at lunch that's different than your other meals. If it consists of processed foods and/or simple carbs like white bread, or you have a sugary dessert, that might be the culprit. Tinnitus Journal has an article about this, and there's more online from other sites.
