Maybe something of interest for those who would like to receive treatment at the Brai3n clinic: I've contacted the clinic about the pain/tinnitus study and they've said that they're already applying the insights from this research at their location.

Question is what are they doing about it. All I hear is their failed electrical stimulation.

They answered in regards to my question concerning the implications of this study for current treatments (electronic stimulation), so I assume they have changed the parameters for neurostimulation treatments at the clinic. But I think it's probably best to contact Dr. De Ridder, Dr. Vanneste or Dr. Ost directly about the details concerning this study and its implications for current/future treatments.

EDIT: when it comes to the success rate of neuromodulation (electronic stimulation and/or pharmaceutical intervention), Brai3n claims that they have helped reduce the perception of tinnitus for 60-70% of their patients. Unfortunately, I can't find a study paper on their website that could verify these numbers.

Ugh. There's that word "perception," again. Crazy how there's nothing to make this noise just STOP. But I get it, it's complicated.
