      Hey guys

My Tinnitus is kind of low volume/easy to live with. I have no hearing loss with it so Im still trying to find the cause, waiting for the doctor to analyze my cheek/teeth xray for possible TMJ.

Anyway, this night it was so low, didnt even notice it as I was deep into thoughts.

But I woke up in the middle of a night, having a like a bee in my ear.
This has happend many times before, but often at day so I dont notice it too much.

But what happens is: Suddenly a very high ringing comes into my left ear and lasts for around a minute and then just dissappears.

Its not my "T" getting louder. The tinnitis kind of still there in the background, but this is like another sound coming in, just lasting a very short period.

Damn, I do not like this.
I suppose that is what its like having serious T, having that in my ear all day would be hard to cope with.

Anyone knows what it is or have experienced something similar?

Yes I experience it too. Out of the blue, 1 ear suddenly has a louder T which goes away in less than a minute. Its called Spontaneous Tinnitus I think. Anyway check this website, it explains it. I guess it should not be something you should worry too much about as its quite common

It's called fleeting tinnitus and it's extremely common! Even people without constant T experience it occasionally, although it may occur more often in someone who has constant T. Don't worry about it :)

It's been happening to me about every other day (in addition to regular T) for about 40 years. Never got worse.
