Getting a tattoo and question about the sound?

I am going to get a tattoo sometime soon, not to big because it will be my first one. But I was wondering how loud it is getting one, is the sound of the tattoo machine loud or what? Have any of you got one since you got tinnitis? Did the sound bother you?

I still am not positive but I will probably get the number 13 somewhere because it's my favorite number and I just really like it. Eventually I am going to get a tattoo related to The Walking Dead TV show. But I don't think I have to worry as much for this one since it won't be to big so it should only take a few minutes.

 

I'm just worried about the volume of tattoo machine because neck is so close to my ears... It would be just small tattoo so it would be done quickly... Should I wear earplugs? Does anyone have experiences about getting a tattoo?

 

I have never had a tattoo, so I can't comment on the noise exposure. But I can point out that there is never any downside to wearing earplugs. -G

 

Never had a tattoo but would think that it would be no louder than a dental drill so earplugs should be fine.

 

I had a tattoo that lasted 4 1/2 hours on my back.. And honestly could not barely notice the drill cause of how
Much pain i was in lol but thinking back the drill was not loud at all.. Didnt sound any louder then say an electric toothbrush to me anyways.. You

Will just be of the pain not my T cause damn do tattoos hurt depending where you get them!!!!

 

Oh and something tiny on your neck will go so fast.. But since it is near your ear wouldnt hurt to wear plugs!!!
