Going to Psychiatrist. What Should I Know First?

      Tinnitus Since:
      2008
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      TMJ disorder, airplane barotrauma, noise exposure.
      All the psychiatrist's I've seen have a nurse. I called many times. She could just have the Dr. quickly write out a script and set it out for you. Most of the nurses are understanding. So give them a holler and let us know what they say.

      They said that they won't do it. They don't prescribe it period. There is no nurse. I don't no how else to say that. They run there own thing . they told me that, there not doing it. How else can I say that?

      Okay, I was at a mutiple psychiatrist office that could be different. I don't have any problem getting them myself. I don't know what to say? Are your sleeping pills Zolpidem? Maybe Gabapentin would help?

      Yes, he said Ambien, which is the brand name for zolpidem.
