i have had tinnutus since april 12 2013, at age 50 i have suffered hearing loss from playing in a rock band, i was the lead singer guitar player and also done solo music, although i now have tinnutus i thank my lucky stars it is not nothing worse as some others have worse problems, i find being positive is essential,my stage name, k.c

yes it was in a hundred mile radius,now i just play seasonally as a soloist for music in the parks,thanks for reply ,kevin

Hi Kevin,
Glad to see you have a good attitude about things. I'm pretty new to this site and have found being positive is very beneficial. Not always easy, but as you stated there are so many others out there with worse problems. I count my blessings.

yes i am also new to this site,no it is not always easy, the first month was lots of anxiety but as the time is moving on i find something like this actually helps to make you become a better person ,life is wonderful but sometimes you just have to deal with other stuff and make it the best you can,also glad i found tinnitus talk,now i do not feel so isolated,take care,kevin

I'm feel much better lately (since the T onset late August) but I'm certain that I still will face some difficult periods! It will not be a straight line to acceptance.
I noticed for myself that I became much more sensitve to real life things than before T.
I'm think I cried more in 2 months time than I did before T so to say .
