I have been a diabetic since 11/2017 they have me on Toujeo insulin once a day. Around February i started losing body hair/head and March the ringing/hissing started. Drs say its early hearing loss but im 54 and use ear protection when around noisy environments. Does anyone have some answers to many things going wrong not to be connected in some way?

Due to aging or diabetes, blood flow to inner ear is reduced.
Some hair cells or auditory nerve cells will gradually die.
      This could be the explanation.

I would suggest seeing an audiologist and ENT. They can diagnose if you have any hearing loss, what frequency the loss is as and any psychical ear problems.
