Hi
@Spsu26cb. Welcome. If you have not, I would suggest that you read through the "Introduce Yourself" posts, I am certain you will find many in a similar position to yours. The cause may be different, but you will find many who have had tinnitus for a long time, and many with constant ringing.
If you have not found the follwogin posts, Iw oddly highly recommend reading them.
@Michael Leigh, who possesses both a wealth of knowledge on the subject, but has a way of explaining things in a very clear and readable way, has a great number of posts that you will find helpful, here are a few to get you started:

https://www.tinnitustalk.com/threads/headphones-and-tinnitus.12062/
@billie48 wrote his success story demonstrating how positivity helped him habituate.

I would also recommend reading through the success stories, they will not help keep you hopeful, but may give ideas on how to help cope with tinnitus.

I wish you the best, please keep us updated your progress,
