Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
It thundered yesterday, and i did get a weird sensation in my ear drums, like a fluttering ... last night getting ready for bed i could tell the t had got louder, is it possible the thunder caused it.
I don't think that thunder made your tinnitus louder. You were probably just really anxious and worried that it would get louder and so you perceived it to be louder. Try to relax and not monitor it, this will only make you even more anxious. It's the anxiety about noises that is the problem, not the actual noise
I would prefer to give people a little more credit, if someone says their tinnitus has increased I assume it has instead of assuming that the person is just imagining it.
I feel the Thunder has altered it, i have drumming (distant) and high pitched tuning fork sound now, where as before i had a low hiss along side the drumming... maybe it will go back, thanks for all your replies.
