In addition to the ringing which affects both ears, I have a low but fairly prominent humming noise thats only present in my right ear, sort of like an engine.

      Is this common or...what?

I have the same thing, a tone in both ears, a hiss in both ears...

It's kind of good in a way because I can never pay attention to all of them at once. When I do notice my tinnitus I can usually just make myself notice the hiss which is much more tolerable than the tone.

@RamJam I have the humming/buzzing but mine in very prominent. Feels like it shakes my whole head. Be thankful yours is minimal!

I think it may be common. I have a ton of different noises I can't even count. They come and go every second like fleeting T, but it's non stop.
