Fuck if I know
I usually used q-tips but since I realised they are dangerous I am not sure how to do it.

Lay on the side of that ear to let the water drain and wait with patience, or insert an absorbing material at the beginning of the ear canal.
The hair dryer would have been an option but i suppose you can't stand the noise, or the noise makes your tinnitus louder.
So only using gravity or the absorbing qualities of a fabric remain the only two options.

I let my ears dry naturally, takes only a couple minutes. Taking a shower is not like swimming underwater. There should not be much water in your ear unless you are holding your ears directly in the water stream and angling your head so water tips in.

I just don't hold my ears over the shower stream, you don't want water going into the ear canal.

I heard before that water in ear can cause infections...

The water left inside will evaporate if you stay near a silent source of heat for a while, like. A stove, for example.
